poolguyfrank.com is a single sales page for The Pool Owner's Manual by Frank Diaz. It's kept simple on purpose, and this policy is short for the same reason.

What this site collects

Nothing that identifies you. The site has no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no comment boxes, and we don't set cookies or run advertising trackers.

One exception, and a small one: the launch-price timer in the header keeps a single value (the time it started) in your browser's local storage so it stays consistent when you reload the page. That value never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.

When you buy

Every purchase happens on Gumroad, not on this site. Gumroad processes your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy, at gumroad.com/privacy. We never see your card details. We do receive your email address and order details from Gumroad so we can deliver the book and help with any download problem. We don't sell or share them.

Emails

Gumroad sends your receipt and download link. We don't run a separate mailing list from this site.

Hosting and basic statistics

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Children

This site and the book are meant for adults who own or look after a pool. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
